History and Distribution

The company was formed in January, 2005, and commenced operations as a direct rental provider of its Chameleon chairs. In 2007, Chameleon entered into an agreement with Classic Party Rentals, at that time the nation’s largest full-service event rental company, whereby Classic became Chameleon’s exclusive representative in several national markets. Effective August 1, 2009, our agreement was expanded, whereby Classic assumed management and operations of Chameleon’s direct rental business throughout the United States, including Southern California and Las Vegas In connection with that agreement, Classic had the exclusive right to rent Chameleon Chair products in each of its markets. In early to mid-2017, all of Classic’s locations were sold. In connection therewith, Chameleon entered into a series of new distribution agreements with the purchasers, thereby continuing its availability in most of those cities. In addition, Chameleon has also sold chairs to rental companies which has expanded its coverage to over 50 U.S. cities. As such, Chameleon continues to operate as an independent company with its primary focus on design, manufacture, and sale of its proprietary line of products, however it does not engage in direct rental activities.
